We had an amazing stay at Villa de Pescadores in the center of Rio Lagartos, right by the river. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and the hotel offers an incredible private tour with their in-house guide, Paco. The only downside was that the surrounding area could get a bit noisy at night. Overall, this hidden gem is fantastic value for money and offers a unique experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and modern, with a stunning view of the lagoon. The breakfast was decent, and the lagoon tour organized by the hotel was a highlight, especially with our guide Paco. However, the shower left something to be desired, and the staff could be more enthusiastic.

The Hotel Villa de Pescadores is a charming place with a stunning view of the river and a great central location. The rooms are clean and provide a lovely vantage point for watching sunsets. Although the lighting in the room left much to be desired, the overall experience was enhanced by the outstanding boat tour led by Paco, our knowledgeable guide. Dining at the hotel may be basic, but there are delicious options nearby. Overall, the hotel represented good value for money, making it a worthwhile stay.
